Haloathon

To celebrate the release of Halo Anniversary Pizza Hut have partnered with Xbox to offer a Halo Anniversary Pizza topped with onions, mixed peppers, chicken and pepperoni. The Pizza will be available from November 7th – December 19th online (UK only) and any orders will recieve a two days free xbox live gold membership via email.

We were lucky enough to attend HaloFest at PAX Prime 2011 where we met a whole bunch of awesome people and had a great time basking in the Halo Universe. We have slapped a load of pics up on our HaloFest page so check em out and swing by our SWAG page to see all the goodies we acquired to dish out for Haloathon3!

That’s all folks! Haloathon 2 finished at 11:59am on July 10th 2011. We managed to play for 62 hours and raised £865 ($1384) for Childs Play charity. Five full games were played and half of Halo Reach to finish, but unfortunately we had to stop as six of the levels were still locked.

We would like to say thank you to everyone who watched, supported and most of all donated. We would also like to thank our prize sponsors for the kind donations they sent our way. Details of the people who won books/decals etc have been taken and these will be dispatched very soon.

A congratulations also goes to edgey707 who won the Halo League with 800 points. Well done!  Prizes will be given to the top 3.

Haloathon 2 starts on bungie day 7/7/11 at 7pm (UK time). Please help us spread the word so we can tank up as much coin as we can for Child’s Play.

Festivities will begin on the live stream and webchat channel on this page at 7pm. We also have the haloathon league this year where you can join in the fun by playing as much Reach Matchmaking as you can and see if you can top the league!

We will also be dishing out Halo related swag throughout the event so make sure you keep dropping in and shouting loud over on twitter and facebook.

The first bit of official news on the remastered Halo Combat Evolved, the original title in the halo series has leaked accidentally by Microsoft a few hours early ahead of its official announcement at e3 later today. Check out the screenshot below for the details plus some info on other new games.

We now know for sure that a remake of Halo CE is on the way, but what about a new sequel ‘Halo 4′? We’ll post more info as it arrives later.
